Diffusing essential oils is one of the ways to get the most out of them. It is quite powerful to breath essential oils both for the body and the mind.

When you inhale an essential oil, it comes in direct contact with the limbic system, the emotional center of the brain (memory, nerves) which is directly connected to the sense of smell. It is possible to do it by using the diffuser or simply opening the bottle and breathing the scent of the oil. I also like to put a few drops of the essential oil in the palm of my hands, rub them and then cup my hands over my nose and breathe. The diffuser is easier to use and it distributes the essential oil molecules through the air. Essential oils have respiratory benefits and they also have emotional benefits when inhaled. They combat mold microorganisms, decreasing therefore the toxicity of chemicals and increasing atmospheric oxygen. Plus they leave a delicious aroma!
