Essential Oils & Chi Kung for Headaches and Migraines

Do you suffer from headaches (or worse: migraines) and you wish you’d have a natural solution to support you?

Aromatherapy and Chi Kung can help!

Essential oils are quite effective to relieve headaches, especially when used aromatically. The main essential oils to support you during this challenging condition are: Lavender, Peppermint, Spearmint, Eucalyptus and Frankincense. The one that is more commonly used and quite effective against migraines is Peppermint.

What you need to do is to smell the oil directly from the bottle for a few minutes (in case of a migraine you need to do it at the early start of the condition). As you inhale the oil’s aroma, you’ll start feeling relieve until the upset subsides.

An important detail to consider is the essential oil brand you choose to use for this purpose. The higher quality the oil you use, the better the results will be. This is further explained in the e-book Aroma & Therapy or in a personalised Workshop on Aromatherapy.

You can combine essential oils with Chi Kung movements as described in this video for faster results. An effective way to use Chi Kung to relieve headaches is to place your tongue to the soft palate and then shake your body as demonstrated in this video. Placing your tongue to the soft palate and shaking helps your body relieve stuck energy in your head.

Another tool that will give you headache relieve in the long run is meditation. Here are 4 reasons to start meditating today!
