Here are three easy suggestions:
1 – Start a Gratitude Journal where each day you write at least one thing that you felt grateful for. As you get more and more into it, you’ll find out there’s a lot of things to feel grateful for. You just have to pay attention to them and – as you start noticing them – it’s like they keep popping up, therefore you attract more gratitude and joy into your life from how beautiful the sky looks that day, to how you admire your favourite color or how grateful you are for having people who love in your life.
2 -When you wake up each day or as you do your morning routine, take five seconds to feel grateful for a new day and for being alive and actually say “thank you”! Some people start the morning with a short prayer or a meditation to set the perfect mood for the day to come and live each moment with the gratitude mindset present!
3 – Use one of the meal times to be aware and grateful for that meal, for the food on your dish that will nourish your body. Eating is a beautiful moment: when we nourish the temple where our souls live! So what better moment to have a gratitude though or prayer than just before you eat? Use the meal times or one of the meal times to take a moment and feel thankful for being here now.
