Ok: so what do all these – apparently so different – things have in common?
In the movie The Cell, Jennifer Lopez plays a doctor who goes inside the patient’s head to help him get free from his own condition which may go from phobia to other major ailments. What’s so incredible about the movie, other the idea of going into someone’s mind, is the scenarios that have no limits to it. In someone’s mind you can both find Heaven or Hell as Sartre described in his reflection on human nature. It’s a cell, but it’s a cell of our own creation.
Louise Hay was a wonderful woman who helped thousands of people with the affirmations and the mirror work that she developed which created room for self-acceptance and self-love.
Joe Dispenza, Gregg Braden and Bruce Lipton are revolutionizing the world. They basically do the same kind of work that Louise Hay did through the use of meditation and using the now scientific explanation for the process of changing our limiting beliefs which were intuitively and successfully used by Louise. This is also very aligned with the work of Carl Jung and with the way Traditional Chinese Medicine has always addressed human being’s health. I’ll be sharing more on this in an upcoming video. Stay tuned to my channel!
Aromatherapy brings you to the present moment. Essential oils are gifts of the Earth that make you feel good, empowered, uplifted. Our sense of smell is quite powerful as described by neuroscientists like Dr. Daniel G. Amen or by Taoist breathing techniques which base their success in ancient knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Kung Fu is closely connected both with Yoga and with Tao and therefore has a set of movements and techniques that allow you to be in the present moment. The Shuang Yang is often referred to as meditation in movement and The Sum Chien is called The Three Wars: Mind, Body, Spirit; whose practice enhances harmony throughout the organism bringing it into full connection.
How do all of these come together?
So the mind can both be heaven or hell, depending on what we put on it. If following Louise Hay’s work we use methods that will allows us to break through limiting beliefs, which science has proven that it works. In order to do that, some of the main techniques that can support us into creating new though patterns in our mind are Meditation and Aromatherapy. There are several forms of Meditation, Martial Arts is just one of them. But since Kung Fu is so demanding and its Meditation forms have a high focus and emphasis on movement, it may be a good way to start or to insist when nothing else seems to help the transformation of the mind. As for Aromatherapy, this blog was born because of it and I just don’t get tired of spreading its many benefits.
And so you see the mind can both be Heaven or Hell. It is our responsibility to decide and nourish which one is it going to be.
