Family & Gratitude

During Christmas it’s always good to celebrate family time and family wisdom: the things you’ve learned from other generations whether by good or bad example or just by words (it often goes with the saying “look at what I say, not at what I do”).

It is also each one’s responsibility to choose what to learn from each person or situation in life: to choose the gratitude attitude!

I wanted to share some examples I’ve learned with my family:

Compassion

When I was a kid, my Mother always said: “Don’t do to others what you don’t like others do to you.” It was basically a teaching on putting yourself in someone else’s shoes. And if you actually embrace this thought, then it’s very powerful, because it allows you to be more understanding and compassionate towards everybody that crosses your path.

Abundance

My Father always says and acts under the principle: “Do good no matter to whom.”. It’s basically a feeling of kindness and generosity! Always being kind, always live in giving: the abundance mindset, not just material goods, but your honest time and energy whenever you are with people, being totally present in the moment and extending a hand to someone in need. This is one of the teachings I feel most grateful for, because in J.M. Barrie’s words “Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others, can not keep it from themselves.”

People’s actions always speak louder than their words! Let us express ourselves through our actions!

Merry Christmas!

I love laughing out loud, sharing wellness (raising energy) is one of my greatest joys and communicating from integrity is key to me. I believe that being playful in an emotionally charged planet is the key to enjoy the ever present synchronicity. The journey is the destination!
