“No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world.”
John Keating – Dead Poets Society
The world is changing. Sometimes it doesn’t seem like it, sometimes it may not feel like it, but it is! The night is always darker just before the dawn!
We learn with the media that it may take violence to change something, but it doesn’t. There are several examples that tell otherwise! Unfortunately we live in a fast pace societies where we are fed whatever comes in the newspapers or invades us through the news and such examples often are tossed aside and silenced.
One of the most powerful ways that we can make the world a more beautiful or better place is through the power of speech. The words we choose to communicate with others and – especially – with ourselves have a deeper impact than we may realize. Words have energy and the vibration that we put out through speech manifests into our reality. It’s quantum physics! Whatever we put in, we get out; whatever we design, becomes our reality! And the way we design as human beings is through language, through sentences and words that we tell others and ourselves.
We must change the world Urgently as beautifully described in that wonderful poem that Eugénio de Andrade gave us. And we have the power in our own thoughts and in the words we choose to give life to! Let’s use it!
“Poetry doesn’t belong to those who write it, but those who need it.”
Mario Ruoppolo – The Postman
