Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself

Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself is one of the best books I’ve ever read. This book made quite an impression on me as you can watch in this video! Dr. Joe Dispenza begins by describing quantum physics and it is indeed curious that even though we know that all that surrounds us (including what we call “I”) is made of atoms, we are still living in Newton’s world model, which basically is the same as saying that we are mostly focused on matter (0,01% of our reality) and we don’t learn to use our attention towards energy which according to quantum physics is 99,99% of an atom. (This great gap has led us to build societies where we live our lives connected to a very small part of our reality and ultimately of ourselves).

After that clear and detailed presentation dr. Joe Dispenza guides us into understanding how we can break that habit that we acquainted throughout our lives and how to learn how to think differently, what tools can we use to achieve that, to learn how to be more aware of the energy beings we are and how to direct and manipulate that energy. Our thoughts have a very big role in who we are and how we behave and perceive the world. Learning to be aware of our thoughts and acknowledging that they create our reality is the first step to be aware of our emotions and our bodies and how we interact with the exterior world. Another important part of the process is being aware how what we think, feel and are are connected and how that shapes our reality (in this part dr. Joe Dispenza describes the energetic fields according to the quantum laws and how come that concept is not just a theoretical thing that doesn’t have place in our everyday lives). Breaking those patterns (mostly thinking patterns that are “programmed” in our cells and ultimately give life to our personality) can take us to other frequencies (since we are energy beings our thoughts are basically guiding the frequency in which we live in).

According to Dr. Joe Dispenza the practice of meditation is the path to breaking that old habit and the accurate scientific description and guidance he gives in Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself is the reason why I highly recommend this inspiring book to any human being. This really is a book that gives you an explanation why you and only you have the power to change your life!
