Writing as Therapy

Keeping a journal is one of the most therapeutical exercises you can do. When you are writing purely for yourself, you feel free to outflow and truly explore your consciousness. A journal is a place where you can unburden and recreate yourself, it’s a space that can constantly give you clarity about yourself, like a soul picture in a given moment of time. Journaling is self-connection!

I have been using writing as therapy for a long time now and I find it absolutely liberating! Just like dancing, at first it seems strange and out of place, but once you get comfortable with the words pouring out of you, you just totally undress word by word.

Keeping a gratitude journal develops the habit of appreciation. If you don’t know where to start take a look at the gratitude journal. You’ll receive a daily writing prompt for 21 days that will guide you through the journey of appreciating your life.

When you feel in a struggle, writing can be the exercise you need to unwind. That was exactly how I was feeling in the last month and writing was the catalyst I needed:

On Work:

Should we love what we do or do what we love?

On how I felt upon coming back from a worldwide trip:

What I learned after travelling the world

On the space we inhabit as human beings:

Skin: human shelter

On the pain of breaking-up and how to make it through:

Death: when someone you love leaves

Start today writing what’s flowing in your soul and create the habit of meeting up with yourself daily.

I love laughing out loud, sharing wellness is one of my greatest joys, and communicating with integrity is key to me. Being playful on an emotionally charged planet is the secret to enjoying synchronicity. The journey is the destination!
